Mikhail Sutyaginskiy spoke at the Third Forum of small business enterprises of the regions of SCO and BRICS member countries

The agreement on cooperation between Petrochemical industrial cluster of Omsk region and Petrochemical territorial cluster of the Republic of Bashkortostan was signed at the Third Forum of small business enterprises of the regions of SCO and BRICS member countries. The strategic document was signed by the leaders of clusters – Oleg Moloshtanov and ElshadTelyashev.

Mikhail Sutyaginskiy, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of GC "Titan" JSC, the member of Inter-agency expert council on development of the chemical and petrochemical industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, noted during his speech at the plenary meeting that Omsk region and the Republic of Bashkortostan have a similar industrial line: "Petrochemical and chemical complexes are developed at both territories, identical productions operate. The regions have time-proved business relationship. Design institutes of Bashkiria, engineering and scientific centers carry out works for the enterprises of Omsk region. We already have close partnership which will be further strengthened through the agreement".

Let us note that the document is aimed at development of oil and gas and petrochemical complex of the regions-partners. This goal will be achieved through the implementation of a joint investment project and programs, cooperation with a research institutes and universities, establishment of a strong contact with a financial institutions and other activities specified in the agreement.

Mikhail Sutyaginskiysaid that according to the document a number of a projects will be implemented within 20 years in a volume up to 200 billion rubles: "These are projects that aimed at deep redistribution of petrochemical raw material with obtaining of a high margin import-substituting products based on ecologically clean technologies with a high level of the industrial safety", - emphasized M. Sutyaginskiy.

Summary:

Petrochemical industrial cluster of Omsk region (Omsk petrochemical production cluster) was entered in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in December, 2016.

Omsk petrochemical production cluster includes 17 members (enterprises of petrochemical industry, producers of package containers, technical carbon, bag-wash, polypropylene; educational and scientific institutions. Among such members there are "Poliom" Ltd., "Omsk Carbon Group", GC "Titan" JSC, "Omskykauchuk" PJSC, Firm "Kairos" CJSC, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University" and others.

Petrochemical territorial cluster of the Republic of Bashkortostan was created in 2012. Currently, the cluster unites 188 participantsincluding processing and production enterprises, research organizations, educational institutions. The following companies are among the participants: "Transneft-Ural" JSC, "Salavatneftemash" OJSC, "Synthez-Kauchuk" JSC, "Angara Service" Ltd., "Bashgiproneftechim" Ltd., "Sterlitamak Catalyst Plant" Ltd. and others.
